Responsibilities :
Conduct in-depth interviews and brain storming sessions with stakeholders to design data models
Interact with internal and external Business Analysts to get the functional requirements
Interact with various teams for discover reporting needs
Gather accurate data and discover its relations by data analysis and functional analysis
Create and Review Logical, Physical and Dimensional Data Models for data warehousing needs
Document data models, change logs
Team up with ETL, Reporting and other development teams for implementing the data models successfully
Skills and Qualifications :
Excellent understanding of business processes and data sources in one or more industry verticals – Telecom, Airlines, Retails, Finance, Utilities.
Experience with common data modelling tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, NoSQL, Hive, Pig
Good applied data investigation skills
Experience : 8-10 years with at last 3 years in relevant field
