Dell Statistica is part of Dell Software’s Information Management group with a 30-year track record and millions of users worldwide, Dell’s Statistica Advanced Analytics software solution delivers a wide range of data mining, predictive analytics and data visualization capabilities.

The Dell Statistica Advanced Analytics Professional Services (PSO) team is looking to staff Senior Analytics Consultant(s) who will be engaged in projects that involve the use of complex models to answer difficult business questions, improve business efficiencies, or guide strategy development to large scale client engagements.

This position will be responsible for collecting and analyzing large data sets, building appropriate models and reporting key findings and recommendations in a concise, actionable and efficient manner. Will be involved in problem solving with actionable results and able to multi-task. Will work both independently and as a team player in a collaborative environment.

Role Responsibilities
-Apply scientific techniques to data evaluation, performing statistical inference and data mining
-Document and present the data analysis and its conclusions for assessment by full-performance analysts, developers, and their managers
-Develop analytic plans, engineer supporting algorithms, design and implement solutions which execute analytic plans
-Combine information about the structure, syntax, and processing of data with the functions of gathering, organizing, and manipulating datasets in order to synthesize responses to customer information needs.
-Gather requirements for recommended or needed improvements
-Conduct training at client sites for large audience

Requirements
-2+ years of data management and/or data architecture experience with financial services clients
-2+ with the implementation and execution of Data Management applications and toolsets
-1+ years of experience with technical data manipulation tools or business intelligence products
-2+ years of Business Analyst experience across multiple functional business areas -2+ years experience in Data Warehousing
-Work from home remote and be flexible for 50 – 75 percent travel
-Experience evaluating back-end infrastructure supporting to assist advising on options and implementing chosen alternatives for addressing performance issues, file structure and set up, security, and portal/web structure

Preferences
-6+ years of consulting or professional services experience from a technical or process (functional) oriented discipline within a large consulting firm
-Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a quantitative field or equivalent
-Experience developing reporting and analytical solutions for Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing and other industry verticals
-Knowledge of one or more of the following Advanced Analytics solutions: SAS, Statistica, SPSS
-Knowledge of one or more of the following BI solutions: TIBCO/Spotfire, Oracle BI, Microstrategy or Cognos
-Knowledge of one or more of the following DM solutions: Informatica, AB Initio, DataFlux, ER Studio, or Adaptive
-Knowledge of real-time big data technologies and architectures, HortonWorks Hadoop Ecosystem (Storm, Kafka, Pig) and NOSQL databases (Hbase, Mongo, Cassandra)
